The toy library is aimed primarily at children and pre-teens, but also at adults of all ages.

Games are an indispensable complement to a child's personal enrichment and intellectual growth; moreover, borrowing a game and looking after it gives the child a sense of responsibility to match.

The toy library plays a part in the socio-cultural activities of the town of Morges, and helps to give access to expensive games to people who would not otherwise acquire them. It avoids the often observed waste of games that are of little use and which children quickly lose interest in.

The toy library is also a place for parents and children to meet and exchange useful tips. By lending board games, it encourages family life and sharing between generations.
