Dr méd. Ivanir Anchy Asher

After graduating in medicine and surgery from the University of Bologna, where he obtained his medical degree with a grade of 110/110 Cum Laude, Dr. Anchy Asher Ivanir went on to obtain the title of FMH specialist in psychiatry and psychotherapy at the HUG (Department of Psychiatry).Dr. Anchy Asher Ivanir then obtained his FMH specialist qualification in psychiatry and psychotherapy at the HUG (Department of Psychiatry) in Geneva. During this period of specialization, he worked in several cantons in French-speaking Switzerland: Valais, Fribourg, Vaud, and Geneva (working with several outpatient clinics and crisis centers), then at theDepartment of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, where he worked as a senior registrar at the Center for Suicide Research and Prevention (CEPS) and in a multidisciplinary service providing psychotherapeutic care for adolescents.

During this period, he completed his master's degree in couple and family therapy at the University of Geneva (Faculty of Medicine, Department of Adult Psychiatry). During his years at CEPS, he gave seminars to first-year students at the Geneva Faculty of Medicine on the theme of what is normal and what is pathological in adolescent crisis.

He also held the position of Head of Clinics in the West Vaud Psychiatric Sector for three years at the hospital and outpatient consultation service. Every year, he participates in major conferences, such as the EPA (European Psychiatric Association), the WPA (World Psychiatric Association), and the BBAdos in Paris.

Dr. Anchy Asher Ivanir was a consulting psychiatrist for the city of Geneva and now works as an expert, collaborating with courts, particularly in divorce cases in the cantons of Geneva and Vaud.He has a practice in Geneva and another in the canton of Vaud, in Nyon, where he works with small teams (regional care network - home care, school, parents' association, etc.). He is also a psychiatric expert for the Regional Medical Service (SMR) and the AI Office.

He also participated as a speaker at the Seventh Congress of the International Society for Adolescent Psychiatry and Psychology in Montreal, on the theme "From adolescence to adulthood: passage and transition." The theme of his lecture was: Clinical Contributions and Reflections on Early Psychosis.
