The practice
Aare Pysiotherapie is a bright physiotherapy practice opposite Olten railroad station. Since opening in 2006, we have been using all our knowledge and skills to help our customers with their problems. Our focus is on the patient as a person. After all, we treat a person, not just a diagnosis.
The quality of our work is very important to us, which is why we invest a lot in our further training every year and work closely with referring doctors.
Involving our patients in their therapy is just as important to us in order to achieve an optimal treatment outcome and free them from their symptoms in the long term.

What is physiotherapy?
Physiotherapy is an independent discipline in the field of therapy, which together with medicine and nursing forms the three pillars of conventional medicine. It improves quality of life and is aimed at eliminating pain and physical dysfunctions. Physiotherapy is used in therapy, rehabilitation, prevention and health promotion, as well as in palliative care.
Physiotherapy is aimed at people who have suffered an accident, people with acute or chronic illnesses, people with disabilities and healthy people. Physiotherapy services are reimbursed by health insurance if they are prescribed by a doctor.
What happens in a physiotherapy session?
In the first session, the therapist takes a comprehensive look at the patient's problem. The first step is to ask detailed questions about the symptoms and their progression. This is usually followed by a physical examination (so you may have to take off your pants or shirt during therapy). Based on the findings from the anamnesis and the examination, the therapist selects the ideal treatment techniques and draws up an individual treatment plan, which is reviewed again and again over the course of the therapy and adjusted if necessary. The treatment itself usually consists of manual treatment techniques and the instruction and implementation of a specific exercise program.
Dry Needling
Dry Needling is an effective addition to manual trigger point therapy.
