Richli Paul

History

On January 1, 1973, the business was handed over from parents Karl and Anna Richli-Meier to Rosmarie and Paul Richli-Eggli.

The young winegrowing couple immediately set out to specialize as a winery. They made the most of the opportunity to regularly acquire new vineyard plots. Today, the Hirschen owns some of the best sites with excellent terroirs in southern Klettgau.

The wine-growing business developed almost by leaps and bounds to a vineyard area of 4.5 hectares in its own possession.

Dear friends of wine

Our family business in the "Hirschen" - in the middle of the beautiful Klettgau winegrowing village of Osterfingen - is the home of high-quality wines. We devote all our skill and energy to tending our vines and processing our specialties in our own modern winery. As self-pressers, we lovingly process our home-grown grapes into sought-after top-quality products.

The craft of viticulture is demanding. It requires expertise and precision as well as perseverance and diligence. The almost daily work in the vineyard in the middle of a beautiful landscape fascinates us, because our vines need care and attention all year round. At "Hirschen Osterfingen", we limit the quantities out of conviction in favor of high quality and combine the latest techniques with the knowledge we have acquired over decades.
