Qi is the origin of being and without Qi, life is not possible. According to Far Eastern belief, everything consists of some form of Qi, every person, every plant, every stone, even the air that surrounds us. This means that we are in constant contact with our environment via qi continue...

Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM)
Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) is made up of various application and treatment methods.
The person and their complaints are the focus of attention and an attempt is made to understand them in their individual complexity.
The main diagnostic tools used in TCM include anamnesis, tongue and pulse diagnosis. Face diagnosis, body diagnosis and general appearance are also used.
Treatment methods include acupuncture and herbal medicine, which are the most important pillars of TCM. In addition, ear acupuncture, cupping, moxa, massage and other methods are used as required.
The session is individually tailored to the patient's needs. This means that either the acute condition is brought to the fore and treated or the patient's medical history, including all important aspects such as origins, development, special events, environment, diet and exercise, is included. Of course, TCM allows you to combine acute and long-term treatment goals during one session.
The unique thing about TCM is that today's form of treatment is the same as it was around 5000 years ago. This means that the principles and laws have retained their validity to this day and have remained practically the same in their application.TCM is suitable for acute and chronic complaints and pain (e.g. headaches, back pain, etc.), diseases of the digestive organs (e.g. constipation, diarrhea, flatulence, etc.), stress-related illnesses, allergies and asthma, hay fever and increased susceptibility to infections. The WHO acupuncture indication catalog lists further symptoms:

Supplementary treatment methods
Ear acupuncture: It works via reflex zones and is used as a stand-alone, symptomatic method or as a complementary treatment
Herbs: We use Chinese herbal mixtures according to the principles of Chinese differential diagnostics.
Moxa: With direct or indirect application, the warming effect of the mugwort herb is brought into the meridian system by burning it.
Cupping: Cupping glasses are used to stimulate blood circulation in the skin and deeper layers, mobilizing the Qi and blood.
Guasha: This treatment technique uses a horn tool to treat the painful area very effectively. Still unknown here, this method is used very frequently in Asia.
The human body is criss-crossed by large and small pathways, the meridians. These energy pathways connect all organs, extremities, torso, head, sensory organs, orifices and functions, and form collection points, the so-called acupuncture points.
In addition to the vascular system, nervous system and lymphatic system, there is an all-connecting meridian system. While Ayurvedic medicine lists up to 65,000 energy points, Chinese medicine makes do with 360 classic acupuncture points and 1,000 extra points.
Stimulating these points on the meridians can often restore a pathogenic disorder to its original healthy state. This can be achieved, for example, by inserting needles or painless laser acupuncture.

Leech therapy
Traditional applications
Joint disorders such as knee joint arthrosis, thumb joint arthrosis, cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine complaints, herniated discs, sciatica, tennis and golfer's elbow.
Blood vessel diseases such as high blood pressure, headaches, migraines, strokes, risk of thrombosis, dizziness, facial paralysis, angina pectoris, varicose veins, phlebitis, vascular calcification, haemorrhoids, muscle cramps, venous congestion, carbuncles, abscesses, angiopathy in diabetes mellitus.
Injuries after accidents, strains, torn muscle fibers, bruises, sprains, bruises, nail bed inflammation, boils, pain after surgery.
Miscellaneous such as detoxification and cleansing, menstrual pain, tinnitus, heavy legs, plastic and reconstructive surgery.
Effect
- The leech secretes a secretion as soon as it has attached itself to a person. The secretion contains around 100 active substances, most of which have not yet been scientifically investigated. The most important is hirudin, which has an anti-thrombin or anticoagulant effect. Other important active substances are calin, hyaluronidase, eglin and bdellin. As well as having an anticoagulant effect, they also have a vasodilating, anti-inflammatory, antibiotic, lymph-accelerating and pain-relieving effect. At the same time, the fluke sucks 2-3 milliliters of blood and dissolves as soon as it is full.
The treatment
- The treatment lasts 1-2 hours, after which nothing strenuous should be done. Drinking plenty of fluids supports the circulation.
After-effects
- The bite site will continue to bleed for 4-24 hours, which requires good dressing of the wound .
- The post-operative bleeding is part of the therapeutic effect, it decongests and detoxifies and should not be suppressed.
Side effects
- During the treatment you will feel a pain similar to that of stinging nettles, but it will disappear after about 5 minutes. After leech therapy, there is usually local redness and swelling of the skin and a small bruise, which usually disappears after 14 days. Itching often occurs 1-2 days after the treatment, which can be soothed by rubbing in an ointment. A small scar may remain, but it is negligible.
- Allergic reaction to the leech serum, prolonged postoperative bleeding, wound healing disorder, wound infection .
- Born or acquired blood clotting disorder, known allergy to the secretion, immunosuppression, pronounced blood deficiency, dialysis.
- The leeches we use come from a world-leading breeding facility in Russia. The transmission of viruses and bacteria is guaranteed to be ruled out as they are bred in laboratories and have never bitten a human .
