Thermobois SA has been active in the wood energy sector for 30 years. The company's core business is the purchase and sale of wood energy. Wood piles collected in the forest by truck are chipped and blown directly into dump trucks. The chips are then transported directly to large boiler plants, or stored under cover in the warehouse, where they are dried and screened to obtain a product with uniform moisture content and grain size. These high-quality chips are intended to supply small regional wood-burning boiler plants, guaranteeing optimum yield and trouble-free operation of the facilities.

Thermobois SA has two truck-mounted chippers, capable of producing up to 800 m³c/day and offering great flexibility of intervention. Dump trucks with tipping bridges, pump tippers or moving bottoms ensure transport and deliveries to customers without access limits.

Current chip production is tending to reach 100,000 m³c/year, the equivalent of around 10 million liters of fuel oil per year substituted by regional wood energy.

Thanks to the partnership with its sister company Thermoréseau-Porrentruy SA, Thermobois SA staff have acquired extensive experience in the development, operation and maintenance of wood-fired boiler plants. Their services are also offered to all boiler plants in the region as a complement to chipping or fuel supply. From feasibility studies for the implementation of communal district heating systems to the complete refurbishment of wood-fired boilers and the optimization of existing installations, our expertise is complete.
