The Altavilla Hotel is located at the foot of the Bernina Pass. In the past, coachmen, carters and their horses found refreshment there before embarking on the ascent of the Bernina. Today it is run by the Knaebel-Sterli family, who with dedication and care, make it a pleasant place for all those who love peace and quiet.

The hotel has three double rooms, five three-bed rooms and one four-bed room, for a total of 25 beds. The rooms, furnished simply and functionally, have a bathroom or shower with toilet, hairdryer and television. Valuables can be deposited in the safe at the reception.
