The Altavilla Hotel is located at the foot of the Bernina Pass. In the past, coachmen, carters, and their horses would stop here to rest before tackling the climb up the Bernina. Today, it is run by the Knaebel-Sterli family, who, with dedication and care, make it a pleasant place for all those who love tranquility.

The hotel has three double rooms, five triple rooms, and one quadruple room, for a total of 25 beds. The rooms are simply and functionally furnished and have a bathroom or shower with toilet, hairdryer, and television. Valuables can be stored in the safe at reception.
