A dental practice for the entire population

The Medical Dental Service (hereafter SMD) of Croce Verde Lugano has been providing quality dental care and prophylaxis to the entire population since 1915. Qualified and experienced dentists and dental hygienists welcome patients for the following services:

 Treatment

Medical Care:

• oral surgery (extractions, minor surgery)

• endodontics (root canal care)

• implantology

• narcotic surgeries

• dentistry conservative (caries care)

• removable prosthetics (total and partial)

• fixed prosthetics (crowns and bridges)

Dental hygiene:

• glaze application

• prevention of periodontal disease (gingivitis and periodontitis)

• dental prophylaxis (tooth and supporting tissues)

• dental whitening

 The Service welcomes patients by appointment and on an urgent basis (after telephone contact) Monday through Friday, from 08:00 to 12:00 and 13:00 to 17:00.

 The team

The competent and constantly updated MDS team, coordinated by Dr. med. dent. Claudio Colosimo, chief medical officer and chief operating officer Mr. Yari Lipp, makes use of:

• five dental doctors

• four dental hygienists

• one prophylaxis assistant,

• four dental assistants

• two dental assistant trainees

• one administration manager

• one receptionist with dental assistant training

 The facility

Situated on the second floor of the Pregassona building at 46 Via alla Bozzoreda, the MDS has recently renovated spaces, six state-of-the-art medical offices equipped with traditional radiology and an orthopantomograph for 3D diagnostics.

The barrier-free service is conveniently accessible by public transportation (TPL "Croce Verde" stops), has several reserved parking spaces, several public parking spaces less than 5 minutes away, and a parking space reserved for handicapped patients.
