We at Mamapersia originally come from Northern Iran. Our local cuisine offers a few extras with secret ingredients. For example, our homemade marinades, which are applied 12 hours before the meat is grilled

PERSIAN CUISINE

Persian cuisine is a millennia-old art that has been passed down through many generations. The recipes have been continuously refined ever since. Individual ingredients are selected with the utmost care, because the harmony of flavors is the top priority of Persian cuisine. One of the most important ingredients in Persian cuisine is fragrant rice. We offer this in different variations. For example, with freshly prepared vegetables, fruit and nuts, or with butter, grilled tomatoes and meat. The meat is grilled on charcoal. Saffron and turmeric play an important role in the seasoning.

Only original ingredients are used. Spices such as saffron are imported directly from their country of origin, Iran. We source our meat from local butchers. One of our highlights is our home-smoked fish. By adding lemon juice, orange juice or pomegranate, the popular sweet and sour taste of Persian cuisine is achieved.
