Praxis für Physiotherapie Susanne Paech – Contacts & Location
Description
Physiotherapist Susanne Paech
Physiotherapy is an integral part of therapy in the context of surgery, orthopaedics, sports medicine and manual medicine.
In the treatment of muscle injuries, physical measures and moderate recovery of function using manual techniques and techniques based on neurophysiology can shorten convalescence and the return to sport.
In surgical procedures such as the stabilization of a bone fracture with a plate or nail, physiotherapy with all its techniques is crucial for the functional outcome of the operation, as is joint plastic surgery or operations following ligament injuries.
Without accompanying physiotherapy, back pain cannot be treated effectively, regardless of whether the cause is a herniated disc or muscular tension with accompanying segmental blockage of the spine.
Physiotherapy is crucial for the prevention of injuries and pain in the area of muscles, tendons and joints.
The focus is on physiotherapy for sports injuries, after operations on the musculoskeletal system using manual techniques, PNF techniques, fascia techniques and osteopathic techniques.

Due to decades of experience in the physiotherapy of sports injuries in cooperation with specialized sports surgeons, this is the focus of my physiotherapeutic work.
Physiotherapy with initial decongestive measures, then increasing recovery of function and finally strength and coordination is an integral part of trauma surgery and sports surgery.
In order to fulfill these tasks, manual, neurophysiological and fascia techniques are required, as well as cooperation with a surgical specialist. Promoting strength, agility running and sprinting, as well as plyometrics are important for the successful return of an athlete.
Criteria and tests for dynamic strength development, fatigue resistance and neuromuscular coordination are important and helpful in assessing an athlete.
This is only possible with good and close coordination between physiotherapy and sports surgeons.
