The range of services extends from the clarification of any surgical problems to conservative therapies and surgical treatment.

Spectrum of treatment:

• Diagnosis, treatment and operations on hemorrhoids, etc (proctology)
• Operation of umbilical hernias, inguinal hernias, etc (hernia surgery)
• Gall bladder removal (cholecystectomies)
• Thin and large bowel and stomach surgery
• Treatment of varicose veins without or with surgery (phlebology)
• Minor hand surgery (CTS, fast finger)
• Skin and soft tissue surgery (moles, fatty tissue tumors, etc)
• Wound care
• Small interventions of any kind
• Implantation of port-a-caths
• Circumcision in men (vasectomy, sterilization), narrowing of the foreskin (phimosis)

Numerous minor procedures can be performed on an outpatient basis under local or regional anesthesia in the city practice. Larger operations and laparoscopic procedures (laparoscopy) are performed at the Belair Clinic. For patients with additional insurance, inpatient treatment at the Lindberg Clinic in Winterthur is also possible.
