History

The Schiers Hospital has been in existence since 1881 and is an operation of today's Flury Foundation in Schiers. The hospital celebrated a remarkable anniversary in 2006 . As one of the oldest hospitals in the canton of Graubünden, the hospital was able to celebrate its 125th anniversary on July 10, 2006 and thus look back on an extraordinarily long period of service to the people of the Prättigau valley. To mark the 125th anniversary, Dr. Peter Boesch, the hospital's long-serving head physician, has thankfully taken on the task of updating the hospital's history. However, this work is not just a historical review of the last 25 years of the hospital. In addition to updating the hospital's history in the first part of the book, in the second part he provides an interesting and varied insight into the everyday life of a former head physician at Schiers Hospital.

The Services division provides all other services for our patients, residents and clients to support the medical, nursing and medical technology services. This includes services such as hotel services, IT / telecoms, technical services and pharmacy / materials management.
