On November 1, 1999, Jacqueline Joss founded the sole proprietorship SID Sprachen- und InformationsDienste Jacqueline Joss. SID Sprachen GmbH was founded in 2008 to meet the constantly growing demand for the company's services. In January 2014, she sold the language school part of the business in order to focus exclusively on translation and interpreting. Our clients range from individuals seeking solutions for their personal needs, to international corporations and foundations seeking accurate and efficient language-centered services, to law enforcement agencies. The company has successfully implemented thousands of successful solutions for a wide range of businesses, public and government organizations, law enforcement and judicial agencies, and philanthropic institutions.


Jacqueline Joss continues to evolve her knowledge and service profile to keep pace with emerging and changing market influences. In-depth specialist knowledge and skills are paramount to our offering and ensure the best possible outcome in all our client projects. As an official and court interpreter and translator ZHAW, translations and interpreting in the legal field are her specialty. However, her irrepressible thirst for knowledge allows her to immerse herself in a wide variety of specialist areas time and again.
