Soral

The municipality of Soral is primarily agricultural and wine-growing.

It covers 292.40 hectares, more than 83% of which is devoted to agriculture.

Its population is approximately 780. The municipality of Soral consists of two distinct areas, connected by road, with its highest point at 456 meters.

It is surrounded by Avusy, Laconnex, Bernex, and Perly-Certoux, and shares a border several kilometers long with the neighboring French department of Haute-Savoie.

Essentially a farming community, Soral does not only cultivate its agricultural land and vineyards.

It also supports the artists and craftspeople who have settled in the area, as well as the many cultural activities that flourish there. There is a retirement home and two cafés.
