Can you smell our homemade bread? It smells wonderfully fresh - like so much here. We source our flour from Mühlistübli in Steffisburg, and beef and veal as well as eggs, milk and potatoes directly from our farm at Burgergut. Because freshness, sustainable production and quality are important to us, we take regional producers into account when selecting our products. From this, we create tempting dishes, seasonally appropriate and prepared with lots of love - just as we like it "refreshingly traditional".

The cultural season at the Schüür lasts from September to May. The focus is on acoustic performances that require little fuss: Jazz and classical music, but also readings and "unplugged" bands.
