Supervision
Case supervision
Two heads are better than one, and no two clients are alike:
In case supervision, I accompany you or your team in reflecting on your own work in a differentiated way, thus ensuring and further developing its professional quality, but also providing relief in demanding or stressful situations. It is intended to help you (re)open your own perspective in order to recognize and implement new points of view, courses of action, or approaches to solutions.
It is important to me that the client's individual characteristics, but also your unique relationship with this person, are understood and appreciated. Supervision should take place in an appreciative and benevolent atmosphere that encourages you to show yourself, especially when things are not going so well, when you experience blockages, uncertainty, or helplessness.
For me, the focus is on the question of how your existing skills and resources, or those of your team, can be utilized, where and what obstacles exist, and what new or different skills could be helpful.
The content includes specific therapeutic or counseling work in individual cases, but also the role and relationship dynamics between you and your clients, your own involvement in the therapeutic or counseling process, and case-related collaboration within the team or organization.
Psychotherapy
My understanding of psychotherapy
Psychotherapy means developmental support that is designed to help you (re)discover, build, and utilize your own "expert knowledge" about yourself.
In the spirit of helping people to help themselves, the goal is to strengthen your skills and resources and make helpful experiences accessible so that you can live more autonomously and achieve a better quality of life.
An essential part of psychotherapy is experiencing self-efficacy and the empowerment to dare to live your individual, unique life (more).
On this basis, you can take the steps that suit you, your situation, and your specific abilities.
When you have achieved the goals you have set for yourself is entirely up to your own experience and understanding. You also determine how long and how much support you need or want, and when you want to continue on your path without therapeutic support.
The core values and development goals in my work are
- Transparency and an authentic encounter characterized by appreciation and empathy
- Equal and careful cooperation on an equal footing
- Individual goal development that incorporates your values, ideas, and beliefs
- Mindful and respectful focus on your needs and opportunities within the context of your private and professional circumstances
- Strengthening awareness and mindfulness of your mental and physical needs
- Building trust and activating self-healing powers as well as unconscious powers and abilities
- Building inner protective functions that can be helpful in dealing with painful, stressful experiences.
- A holistic view of emotional, cognitive, and physical processes and forms of experience and their interaction
My therapeutic cornerstones are
- Person-centered psychotherapy (according to Carl Rogers)
- Scientifically recognized modern hypnotherapy (according to Milton Erickson)
- Ego state therapy
- Focusing, relaxation techniques, imagery, mindfulness exercises
Coaching
What is coaching for?
Coaching focuses on the targeted development of possible solutions in connection with specific professional or personal concerns, during change and decision-making processes, or when facing particular challenges.
Targeted and solution-oriented coaching tailored to your specific situation helps you to develop and expand your skills, achieve clarity, and strengthen your decision-making abilities.
What I associate with coaching
My coaching work is based on the fundamental assumption that all people want to develop further, feel needed and appreciated in their private and professional lives, and experience a sense of purpose. Personal circumstances or contextual conditions, as well as structural (institutional) "weaknesses," can have a hindering or blocking effect and make it difficult or even sabotage the development of individual potential or the achievement of an institution's or company's goals.
In a consulting context, a benevolent, appreciative view of all persons involved, their abilities, and their (previous) attempts at finding solutions should enable you to take courage, look closely, create transparency, rethink, and, if necessary, recreate.
