The purpose of the EMS Association "Résidence Les Châtaigniers" is to enable elderly people to live in a safe environment, where they will receive individualized care from competent staff, with respect for their rights and freedoms.

The residence is located in the municipality of Veyrier, at 162 Chemin des Marais, at the foot of the Salève mountain and easily accessible by public transport. An underground car park also allows visitors to park nearby.

The establishment has a garden with flowers and trees, two terraces, and a pétanque court. It is equipped with electronic locks for flexible access management and has a video surveillance system.

The residence has 114 beds divided into:
- 106 single rooms with or without balconies
- 4 studios for couples

All rooms are equipped with:

The Foundation manages sheltered apartments designed to accommodate people of retirement age who are unable or unwilling to live alone, or who suffer from loneliness or social isolation, reduced independence, and a need for physical and psychological security.
The Les Châtaignes residence offers 20 luxury apartments in a well-maintained and friendly environment.
All of the 2.5- and 3-room apartments are built with architecture adapted to seniors, people with reduced mobility, or people with disabilities. They are designed with your well-being and safety in mind, down to the smallest detail.
Featuring a large terrace or loggia for relaxation, these bright and comfortable apartments mostly offer breathtaking views of the Salève.
The materials used in the apartments are of high quality, and all are equipped with a functional bathroom
and a fully equipped kitchen.
Hotel services, care, and entertainment can be provided on request.
The common areas available to tenants are spacious, tastefully decorated, and conducive to socializing.
A fully equipped laundry room is also at your disposal.
The exterior of the residence has been landscaped and decorated with trees and plants carefully selected by a local landscape architect.
