We look forward to welcoming and pampering you in the GIW mountain restaurant, newly renovated in 2014, at 2000 meters above sea level above the heather village of Visperterminen. Enjoy our Wallis specialties with the famous Heidawein from the highest vineyard in Europe.

Enjoy the magnificent view during the cable car ride, which is dominated by the view of the Weisshorn (4506 m above sea level), the Mischabel group/Dom (4545 m above sea level) and the striking Bietschhorn (3934 m above sea level). Take advantage of our first-class location in summer for day and circular hikes or mountain bike tours and in winter for skiing vacations with the whole family.

With a lot of experience, love and passion, we create a glamorous setting for your celebrations and work with you to find the right menu idea. Our restaurant (150 seats) and the large sun terrace (130 seats) with a fantastic view of the mountain peaks and the Vispertal valley invite you to linger, also ideal for weddings, company parties, birthdays and much more.
