Gspon The car-free mountain village at an altitude of around 1,900 m offers a magnificent view of the Saas Valley.

High trail to Giw From Gspon, a picturesque high trail leads over Lake Gibidum to Giw. The route offers impressive views of the Visper Valley and the surrounding four-thousand-meter peaks.

Giw to Visperterminen From Giw, you can take the chairlift down to Visperterminen. Alternatively, you can also descend on foot.

Visperterminen to Staldenried The trail via the so-called Bischofswägli takes you through varied terrain to Staldenried in about 2 hours.

Staldenried to Stalden From Staldenried, you can either descend to Stalden on foot or take the cable car back down to the valley.

The Ackersand restaurant is a great addition to the hike from Visp to Stalden – ideal for a stop before or after the tour.
