Acupuncture

Acupuncture is the treatment of certain body points with needles. These stimulate the body to bring itself back into balance. Traditionally, acupuncture is understood to be the regulation of the flow of vital energy, which is called "qi" in China. This flow system is an energetic network of channels that not only connects and influences the acupuncture points, but also the internal organs.

The acupuncture points can also be stimulated using heat (moxibustion), cupping glasses, finger pressure (acupressure), light impulses (colors) or modern methods such as lasers or electrical stimuli to stimulate the flow of energy. Two frequently used, traditional and very effective methods are moxibustion using heat and cupping by creating a vacuum.
