Familynetwork

Familynetwork is a social organization that works in the areas of foster care and family support. The association, based in Zofingen, was founded in 2006 and operates under the supervision of the canton of Aargau. Familynetwork offers a wide range of social services, mainly in the cantons of Aargau, Bern, Zurich, and Solothurn, with specialists on site.

Our core service is to provide children and young people who are temporarily or permanently unable to live with their biological families with a family care placement and support. As a network of foster families and specialists, we work together to ensure the well-being of those in our care.

Other services:

• Social-educational family support: We support families in crisis situations with employees who specialize in this area. With the aim of activating resources to improve vulnerable family situations, this service also has a preventive character.
• Visitation support: We facilitate visits between children and the parent with whom they do not live.
• Investigations into risks to children in families.
• Education and counseling services: Familynetwork is involved in training and continuing education on specific topics related to foster care and parenting in general.
