Since 1904 – tradition with a future
Urs Stocker, fourth-generation entrepreneur:
In 1904, the Stocker bakery and pastry shop opened its doors on Weinbergstrasse in Zurich. The 100th anniversary in 2004 provided a good opportunity to look back. Although a lot has changed in over 100 years, we have always upheld and developed our proven core values in our business:

• We still want to delight our customers with fresh products every day.
• We continue to take sustainable care of our ecology and environment.
• We still want our products to appeal to all five senses and implement our corporate mission statement.
• We call all this continuity across generations. It has always been important to pull together, contribute visions, and implement them.

With the help of historian Mark Wüst, we have succeeded in shedding light on the challenging times of the 20th century and researching a piece of Zurich's history in the context of a craft business. The result is an insightful, interesting, and comprehensive report with fascinating information and many pictures.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank all our customers for their many years of loyalty. And a big thank you also goes to all our employees for their great commitment.
