On April 14, 1982, the first commercial register entry of Mooser & Partner AG (then still Mooser & Grätz), Marie-Claire Giacometti (née Mooser) founds a recruitment consultancy for commercial professions in Zurich - with premises already at Usteristrasse 17 in a prominent location in the middle of the city on Löwenplatz. Subsequently, until the mid-00s, the small agency specialized mainly in the placement of women in the management and specialist sector. This characteristic has contributed to the positive and high level of awareness of Mooser & Partner AG throughout the region to this day. Following the untimely death of the founder in the mid-1990s, her husband, Dr. Laurent Giacometti, continued to run the company as owner. He transferred operational responsibility to various managing directors, some of whom can still be found successfully in the consulting environment today. In 2007, Bea Rutz takes over the company, impresses with her many years of consulting expertise and focuses on recruitment of managers and specialists as well as consulting on HR issues.

In 2018, she handed over the company shares to Manuel Henchoz and continued to work as a freelance consultant for another four years. The new, growing crew of consulting and HR specialists continues to expand its field of activity and business network to this day. With a new Board of Directors and Marc Cosandey as an additional partner since the beginning of 2022, the company has been able to establish itself extremely successfully in the consulting and recruitment market, proudly retaining the character of a Swiss consulting boutique.
