Who we are

Our painting business was founded in 1952 by Fritz Bachmann. He built up the company with tireless enthusiasm and always lent a hand himself. His joie de vivre was infectious. The painting business was his passion. Maler Bachmann soon became one of the most successful painting businesses in the city of Zurich and Fritz Bachmann was a welcome business partner.

He was a role model for his employees and a reliable partner for his customers. They knew they were in good, competent hands, because quality and meeting deadlines were a matter of honor for Fritz Bachmann. His daughter Evelyne was Fritz's right hand until Fritz passed away in 2007. Since then, Evelyne has continued to run Maler Bachmann with his long-standing employees. After completing his apprenticeship as a painter and studying art, Evelyne's son Aurel has also been working in the family business since 2016 and can draw on his in-depth knowledge of special painting techniques. Aurel is now also increasingly taking care of business matters at Maler Bachmann.
