Originally a physiotherapist, I have been working as an osteopath since 2005, a TRE provider since 2017 and am currently training to become an autogenic training coach.

My particular interests include the areas of the microbiome, i.e. the metabolism and its pitfalls, as well as stress management. I am also increasingly treating long Covid problems.

History of osteopathy

Dr. Andrew Taylor Still founded osteopathy in America at the end of the 19th century.

To this day, his fundamental insights form the basis of osteopathic therapy.

The view of the organism as a unit, the importance of the life-giving mobility of all tissues in the body, as well as its ability to self-regulate and the close connection between the structure and function of all parts.

The osteopathic treatment

After a detailed anamnesis, diagnosis and therapy are carried out

The osteopath feels and palpates the whole body and looks for reduced mobility in all structures of the body.

The muscles, ligaments, nerve cords, organs and bones are interconnected, which means that complaints can occur without the structure itself being affected. The osteopath therefore does not always work on the apparently painful area, but looks for the original area of tension.
