Behind zürich24.ch is Lokalinfo AG: a small media company whose flexible team is fully committed to providing local information. Out of conviction. Because we firmly believe that local information is all the more important in a globalized world. In addition to the digital platform zürich24.ch, Lokalinfo publishes four neighborhood newspapers in the city of Zurich and seven other local newspapers on the Gold Coast, in the airport region, and in the Zurich Oberland and Unterland, all of which are official publications of their respective municipalities. The company is organized as a classic SME and is based in Zurich-Altstetten. Lokalinfo AG was founded in 1985.
Strong in the neighborhood
In line with its motto "The neighborhood is our territory," Lokalinfo AG publishes four neighborhood newspapers in the city of Zurich: "Zürich Nord," "Zürich 2," "Zürich West" (once a month with the integrated "Quartier Echo") and "Züriberg." The four neighborhood newspapers are published every 14 days, on Thursdays. You can find out more about the individual titles here.
In addition to the neighborhood newspapers, Lokalinfo publishes other local newspapers in the canton of Zurich: the "Küsnachter, " the "Stadt-Anzeiger" in Opfikon/Glattbrugg, the "Klotener Anzeiger, " the "Volketswiler Nachrichten, " the "Glattfelder, " the "Kilchberger," and the "Anzeiger von Wallisellen."

Lokalinfo AG also produces special newspapers in tabloid format (half a newspaper page in size). Free delivery right to your door
Lokalinfo AG's neighborhood newspapers are distributed free of charge directly to households. The "News for free" concept has long been a proven part of everyday life for the Lokalinfo team – and has always been well received by businesses and service providers in the individual neighborhoods of the city of Zurich. The population is not only offered information about events, sports, culture, upcoming events, and political life, but also background reports on current local issues, social issues, social developments, portraits of artists, politicians, or other people who have an exciting story to tell. Even topics from abroad regularly find their way into the columns of Lokalinfo titles. Why? Because every topic has a local connection. And our editors deal with one central question every day: "How does this relate to and affect my neighborhood?"
Win prizes by reading the newspaper
Every year, Lokalinfo AG raffles off trips, tickets, and prizes worth tens of thousands of francs in reader promotions. With a little luck, you too can win while reading the newspaper: in recent years, hundreds of readers have enjoyed free cultural events such as plays, cabaret evenings, circus performances, and concerts. Or they have spent a day driving a dream car for free, traveled to London or another destination at no cost. Prizes such as Easter bunnies, bobsleds, flowers, or gift vouchers were also up for grabs. Our good relationship with local businesses and the financial independence of our company make all this possible.
Local information. Nothing could be closer to home.
