If you are looking for recreational activities in a quiet and familiar environment, close to nature and at fair prices, you are in the right place! The excellent location directly on the cycle path invites you to various activities. Whether it be a nice bike ride in the direction of Locarno or Bellinzona, for bikers in the direction of Monte Motti, Cardada or Monte Tamaro, various hikes, canyoning, paragliding or simply a stroll along the promenade in Ascona or Locarno. As a campsite, we offer ideal overnight accommodation, whatever your activities. Our spacious pitches offer enough space for caravans, motorhomes, campers and/or even tents. You can book well-equipped rental caravans with everything you need for a carefree holiday. Whether young or old, singles, couples or families, we offer the perfect accommodation and relaxation option for everyone. Our sanitary facilities offer just as much space. They are bright, spacious and are cleaned and maintained several times a day. An exclusive service at the Riarena is the daily ordering of individual bread - for more information, click here. But our cosy restaurant with inviting sun terrace also offers a variety of delicacies and invites you to linger. Gluten-free menus are also available without reservation. Welcome to the Camping Tamaro Resort at the edge of Lago Maggiore near Locarno. Our five stars are: family business, a dynamic team, a serene environment, business policies, respect for the environment as well as modern, sprawling and clean newly refurbished facilities (2019) with heated showers. A peaceful beach, a wonderful lawn along the lake and big plots up to 154 m2 create an ideal environment for your holidays. All pitches have electricity and drinking water, some with drains and satellite TV. Buungalows first class. At Camping Tamaro Resort you can spend unforgettable, relaxing days in brand-new superior bungalows (as of 2020 season, 16 new bungalows). These are very elegant structures, equipped with all the comforts: neutral colors, a unique atmosphere, walls and floors tone-on-tone, in short a very dreamlike ambience for families with higher demands. Each bungalow has a kitchenette with fridge and dishes (common kitchen equipment), two to three bedrooms, one to two bathrooms with shower, satellite TV, WiFi, heating and air conditioning. Bed linen and towels are included in the rental price. Guests can enjoy the picturesque surroundings from the covered veranda with table and deck chairs in peace and quiet. Belles assiettes, bonne qualité. Grand bémol, la quantité du plat principal n’est pas digne de ceci, ça aurait été bien pour une entrée.
