Buvette du Gros-Plané in Gruyère: one of the oldest alpine huts in the canton of Fribourg The Buvette du Gros-Plané consists of a chalet built at the beginning of the 19th century and is thus one of the oldest alpine huts in the canton of Fribourg. Having burned down in 1921, the chalet was completely rebuilt one year later, in 1922. For 43 years now, Mrs Progin and her husband have been running the bar, inherited from Mr Progin's great-grandparents.
