Today, the company employs 9 polymechanics, 5 semi-skilled workers, 3 office staff, 4 polymechanic apprentices, 1 commercial apprentice and 1 logistics apprentice. Our specialities are CNC-manufactured precision, milled and turned parts in all materials. We produce prototypes, individual parts and series for you. For this reason, our measuring and testing equipment is subject to periodic test equipment calibration, which is ensured by an accredited testing laboratory. On request, we supply the parts with a test report. ISO certification 9001:2008 Since June 2009 we are qualified according to this international standard. We regard this quality system as a management and organisational tool for the continuous improvement of our overall performance.

P-MEC Enterprise can boast of a long-standing tradition of producing component pieces for the domain of high-precision mechanics, a legacy that has been passed down from generation to generation since the previous century. In the 1920s, an engineer named Robert Warsitz, the grandfather of one of the current company owners, established the “Feinmechanischen Werkstätten” factory in Berlin. In 1942, the factory was inherited by his son, Erich, who was notably the world’s first pilot of a turbine aircraft. During the same period, Erich Warsitz founded the “Warsitz Werke Amsterdam” factory, which produced high-complexity and precision parts. Following World War II, in 1951, the “Machinenfabrik Hilden” factory was established and operated successfully until the 1960s. In 1965, Erich Warsitz decided to sell the Hilden-based company to later relocate to Switzerland. Less than a year after these events, his son, Eric Robert Warsitz, was born. Following in his father’s footsteps, he became a pilot and an expert in precision mechanics. In the 1980s, Eric Robert Warsitz founded the “E.R.Warsitz” workshop. In 1999, with the arrival of his current partner, Luca Ostini, it became the P-MEC limited company, now based in Barbengo (TI).
