Maurocure Terapista complementare

Via Campagnora 19, 6713 Malvaglia

Complementary therapist specialising in classic massage. Recognised by health insurance providers. Joint mobilisation: This treatment, which incorporates osteopathic techniques, involves manually mobilising one or more joints, allowing the joint affected by the condition to be unlocked and its range of motion increased. The aim is to improve joint function and elasticity, achieving maximum results after a course of treatments. It is recommended for rebalancing joints, even after trauma or surgery, provided that recovery has been agreed with the doctor and completed. Myofascial massage: This is a very effective massage technique that acts deeply on the muscle and tendon fascia, i.e. the connective tissue that covers the muscles and allows them to slide correctly. The purpose of the massage is to restore correct sliding and the right tension in the muscle and fascia. It is particularly recommended for athletes with muscle and joint problems or for those who lead a sedentary lifestyle. Decontracting massage: This massage loosens muscle stiffness, restoring elasticity and improving range of motion. The aim is to relax contracted muscle fibres, often caused by incorrect movements, poor posture, physical exertion or intense training, which can lead to muscle imbalances such as contractures, trigger points, strains, tears or contusions. It is also very effective in relieving neuralgia caused by muscle problems, such as nerves compressed by contracted muscles (e.g. sciatica, upper limb problems, circulatory disorders and tingling). It is also useful in cases of temporomandibular disorders (TMD), such as headaches, stiffness or clicking of the jaw, bruxism and more. Active stretching: This technique is useful for loosening and stretching muscles, improving joint strength and flexibility through active involvement of the affected muscle. It is a supportive manipulation, suitable for all types of treatment. Relaxing massage: This type of treatment is suitable for anyone who wants to relax and regain tranquillity and well-being. It is recommended for rebalancing the nervous system, reducing cortisol (stress hormone) levels and promoting sleep. Trigger points: This technique improves blood circulation and relaxes the area surrounding the treated point. It is ideal for treating musculoskeletal disorders and muscle reflexes. Personal introduction My name is Mauro and one of my greatest joys is making people feel good: mine is not just a job, but a real passion. I perform complementary therapies in my studio in the Blenio Valley, specifically in Malvaglia. I offer manual therapies with classic massage, ideal for rebalancing the muscles and much more. I believe that classic massage is underrated: people often don't realise the many possibilities it offers for improving well-being or promoting healing. When I realised its potential, I was fascinated, and since then my desire to deepen and perfect every aspect of this practice has continued to grow. For me, it is essential to continuously improve my techniques in order to offer patients effective, high-quality treatment.
