We realise shopfitting solutions – from permanent fixtures to pop-up stores. With our own carpentry workshop, we ensure short processes, flexibility and consistent quality in every step. Everything we build is designed for everyday use, built to last and used throughout modern shopping centres across Switzerland. In addition to retail projects, we also work for private clients and public administrations – and since 2024, in the field of recycling solutions from ET+D Egli Trading & Distribution GmbH, which will operate under the LAFAG brand from 2026 onwards. We build custom-made wardrobes, shelving systems and display cases that integrate seamlessly into existing spaces – functional, durable and crafted with great attention to detail. Our bespoke pieces are produced in our own workshop and are used primarily in Basel, the Basel region and the Dorneck municipalities. We are a Swiss family-owned business with a well-coordinated and experienced team. Many of our employees have been with us for decades – one of them for 44 years. This wealth of experience from countless projects flows into our work every day and has done so for over 50 years. With strong roots in the Basel region, we are well established in Basel, the Baselbiet and the communities of the Dorneck area. A Wine Cellar This is, of course, the heart of the Caves du Château. It houses over a hundred wine selections from Switzerland, France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, and beyond. It is here that Léo Macquat seeks to share his values, his love for the land, and the stories of the dedicated winemakers whose work you hold in your hands. Many small estates practicing biodynamic farming or producing sulfite-free wines, sometimes little known, are represented here. But that’s not all: the wine merchant sets no limits. Visitors go from one delightful surprise to another. A selection of digestifs from near and far also finds its place here. Most importantly, Léo Macquat is committed to ensuring that every visitor can find something to fill their glass, no matter their budget. A Tasting Area A warm and inviting space dedicated to wine tasting welcomes epicureans in search of a unique experience. Léo Macquat also aims to delight food lovers. Drawing on his many years in the kitchens of top chefs, he offers guests delicate amuse-bouches. The Grand Cru Cellar Secrecy, discretion, prestige… The finest and rarest wines in Léo Macquat’s collection have a separate cellar of their own—worth a visit, if only for the pleasure of the eyes. A Conference Room A state-of-the-art conference room, also equipped for video conferencing, is available for businesses, professionals, and organizations seeking a unique and discreet meeting space.
