Founded in the mid-1970s, ECAP Solothurn is one of the oldest regional offices of ECAP. The courses offered are primarily aimed at migrants. They are based on the latest methodological and didactic findings and are constantly being expanded. It is low-threshold and adapted to the group-specific concerns (e.g. women, illiterate and unemployed) and realities of the participants. The Balkan School of Languages came into being in 1973, set up by the american-irish family named "Balkan".
