Rue des Eaux-Vives 77, 1207 Geneva

At the origin of the Feldenkrais Method: Moshe Feldenkrais (1904 - 1984): Born in Russia, studied physics in Paris. He was assistant to Frédéric Joliot-Curie and then to Paul Langevin. A pioneer of Judo in France and Great Britain, he specialized in psychomotricity problems. He taught at Tel Aviv University and made his method known through numerous courses and seminars in America and Europe, in particular at the Pitié-Salpétrière hospital in Paris. Yann Baud: Practitioner with a degree in the Feldenkrais method Embodied Life Certified Practitioner Composer Certified member of the Swiss Feldenkrais Association and MEfit Quality Label Practice in Geneva since 1986, in the form of individual lessons, groups, internships and collaboration with various institutions. The Feldenkrais Method: An approach to oneself and its relation to the world through body movement and attention. Through hundreds of different lessons, experimenting with the countless possibilities of human movements, the Feldenkrais practitioner offers the student movements that they are invited to explore at their own pace, in a comfortable amplitude, paying attention. to his bodily sensations, to his breathing, to his supports, to the effects of gravity, to space, to his thoughts, to his feelings, to the relations between the nervous system, the skeleton, the muscles and the environment in all its aspects. The Feldenkrais Method creates the conditions for "awareness through movement": when something in us perceives that what is being experienced is deeply interesting and meaningful, there is a harmonious change that comes from within and amazes us. What the Feldenkrais Method will do for you: The benefits of this approach can be numerous: better quality of movement and posture, more strength and flexibility, physical and mental well-being, better adaptation to stress and to life in general. By improving breathing, the body is better oxygenated and vitality increases accordingly. The kinesthetic sense is refined, the person becomes aware of the way in which his patterns are formed and can thus modify them more easily.

What is Transcendental Meditation (TM)?

Espace MT / David Lynch Foundation Office in Geneva-Carouge is led by Leonard Stein, a certified Transcendental Meditation instructor since 1980. Espace MT offers Transcendental Meditation courses in small groups, private sessions (VIP format), or in companies. In just a few sessions, Leonard teaches you the technique, which you will then practice independently—ideally once in the morning and once in the evening. Ongoing support and coaching are provided to ensure the best long-term results. Transcendental Meditation , rooted in the wisdom of ancient India, is a simple, natural, and effortless mental technique suitable for everyone. It is practiced sitting comfortably with eyes closed, and does not involve concentration, observation, or control of the mind. The busy mind settles spontaneously, the body relaxes deeply, and a state of profound rest is achieved. This allows stress and fatigue to be released, we recharge our "batteries" and emerge from meditation with a clear and creative mind—calm yet dynamic, full of good spirits, positive energy, and creativity for productive activity and high-quality human relationships. Hundreds of independent scientific studies have highlighted the benefits of TM for physical, mental, and emotional health. The David Lynch Foundation , founded in 2005 by the renowned filmmaker, brings the benefits of TM to disadvantaged individuals and those suffering from traumatic stress. With its support, around one million people in need have learned the technique and found a way forward. Leonard represents the foundation in Geneva. Its motto is: “Change begins within.” To learn more, simply contact Leonard Stein for a free information/preparatory session, either in person at Espace MT, online, or by phone—there is no obligation! Courses start regularly, according to demand. 📧 leonard.stein@tm.org | 📞 079 626 48 43

Psychological counselling I have been working in psychology, clinical sexology and couple counselling since 2008. I am an accredited psychotherapist in the UK and Switzerland. I use a 3rd wave cognitive-behavioural approach, aiming for mutually defined solutions within a minimal time frame. Whilst I acknowledge and explore each person's origins and shaping influences from their past, my focus is on "the here and now" with the potential of future improvements. Having lived in various countries and having a mixed cultural heritage, I am comfortable working with people of all ages, cultures and sexual orientations.
