For us, the Bellinzona campsite, which is located in a place where travelers and tourists stop even for a short time, wants to be the opportunity to exchange visions and listen to travel stories. Let's imagine a place where different cultures meet and discover each other, through food, art, dialogue, silence, wine and observation. Bellinzona has always been a crossroads for travel from north to south, to and from the Gotthard and San Bernardino road tunnels. We want the traveler or tourist to abandon the most traveled roads and be involved in our mountains along the paths that wind through the woods, to join the shepherds in the Alps or to be accompanied by the Merlot vines that surround the region. . Camping Bellinzona offers the opportunity to stay in the beautiful Sahara-tents. These are tents with wooden floor, comfortable double bed, blankets, pillows and towels. Welcome. Locanda Villa d'Epoca is located at Ronchini di Aurigeno in Vallemaggia. We can be reached from Locarno in 15 minutes by car or by regular buses; the bus stop is adjacent to our entrance. Rooms: The Villa was built in 1896, completely renovated in 2000 and underwent further renovation during winter 2023/2024. As of March 1, 2024, the new manager is Elisabetta Martinoli, who has long experience in the restaurant business as she ran Grotto da Peo at Monti in Ronco s/Ascona for a decade and previously was active in various restaurants in Geneva for thirty years. The rooms were renovated in winter 2023/2024 and all have minibars, coffee and tea makers, bathrobes, and free wi-fi. Only one does not have a shower and toilet in the room but has it privately outside. Included in the price of the rooms is a buffet breakfast. Free parking is available for our guests. Restaurant: Locanda Villa d'Epoca offers local and home cooking where local or regional products are preferred. Depending on the season, different recipes are offered such as ravioli, gnocchi, risotto, rabbit, shin, braised meat, etc.. In autumn there is no shortage of fresh porcini mushrooms and game. The restaurant and garden lend themselves very well to family celebrations, ceremonies or a relaxing time after a day of work.

Unsere Gruppe vom 100er-Club FC Winterthur wurde in Zandone bestens betreut, informiert und verwöhnt. Beeindruckt waren wir vom Barriquekeller mit dem theatralisch aufgemachten Cheminée mit echtem Feuer, dem informativen Museum, natürlich der modernen Produktion und nicht zuletzt dem sorgfältig betreuten Reifelager für den Aceto balsamico. Die liebevoll gestaltete Degustation bildete den krönenden Abschluss. Beim anschliessenden Diner in der Botega del Vino in Locarno war das Team dort für eine nahtlose Fortsetzung des gelungenen Anlasses besorgt.
