Rooms: The Villa was built in 1896, completely renovated in 2000 and underwent further renovation during winter 2023/2024. As of March 1, 2024, the new manager is Elisabetta Martinoli, who has long experience in the restaurant business as she ran Grotto da Peo at Monti in Ronco s/Ascona for a decade and previously was active in various restaurants in Geneva for thirty years. The rooms were renovated in winter 2023/2024 and all have minibars, coffee and tea makers, bathrobes, and free wi-fi. Only one does not have a shower and toilet in the room but has it privately outside. Included in the price of the rooms is a buffet breakfast. Free parking is available for our guests. Unsere Gruppe vom 100er-Club FC Winterthur wurde in Zandone bestens betreut, informiert und verwöhnt. Beeindruckt waren wir vom Barriquekeller mit dem theatralisch aufgemachten Cheminée mit echtem Feuer, dem informativen Museum, natürlich der modernen Produktion und nicht zuletzt dem sorgfältig betreuten Reifelager für den Aceto balsamico. Die liebevoll gestaltete Degustation bildete den krönenden Abschluss. Beim anschliessenden Diner in der Botega del Vino in Locarno war das Team dort für eine nahtlose Fortsetzung des gelungenen Anlasses besorgt.
