ProCrea is among the largest specialised centres for the treatment of infertility in Switzerland. Active for more than 15 years, it has become, in a short time, an international point of reference for the high professional standards adopted, for its scientific research and the results obtained. ProCrea, unique among the active centres within the sector, avails itself of its own molecular genetics laboratory, ProcreaLab , accredited ISO/IEC 17025 and ISO 15189. This allows us to perform, with the most advanced techniques, within short time frames and under the same roof, all genetic analyses aimed at studying infertility and customising treatments. Also within the centre, the andrology laboratory, in addition to performing the exams needed for our activities, is a point of reference for many urologists and andrologists in the Italian-speaking region of Switzerland. Our main facility is located in Lugano, in a central and strategic position, only a 5 minute walk from the train station. Reachable in one hour by car or train from Milan or by plane from Rome, it has a large indoor parking lot available for customers, and guarantees maximum discretion as well as a personal and continued relationship with our team. It is possible to schedule an information meeting and a first visit within a few days, thus allowing a significant reduction in the waiting time before starting treatment. The approach to treatment is 360 degrees: from simple insemination, to in vitro fertilisation (FIVET/ICSI) and up to, when necessary, heterologous fertilisation with either a donor semen - from a selective semen bank - or a process with oocyte donation. The context in which we operate influences our approach to the project in a decisive way. To produce appropriate design proposals, we believe it essential to take into account the urban fabric and the morphological properties of the landscape. By drawing on architectural models of the past, understood as typological references for formal and composition purposes, we identify a theme connecting the context to our design proposal. Paolo Ortelli, born in Mendrisio, Switzerland in 1962. After graduating from high school, he obtained a physiotherapist diploma in Varese, at the Circolo hospital in 1986, then equalized with a Swiss diploma in 1989. Over the years he has always attended specialization courses in various rehabilitation techniques such as Maitland (at the second level, with manipulations and mobilization of the neuro-meningeal system according to Butler), Klein Vogel Bach (or FBL, various courses), Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation (PNF- Kabath), Lymphatic drainage, Shiatsu and Reflexology (both of the organic and nervous areas), Treatment of trigger points (1 and 2). From 1999 to 2003 he attended and obtained the degree of Doctor in Osteopathy in France and at the Ludes University, in Lugano, and specialized in structural and visceral osteopathy, as well as in Chinese Anthropo-Psychology (APC), and cranio-sacral treatment. and visceral pediatric. He has taught monothematic courses at the same university to Physiotherapy students and is a tutor for trainees in the physiotherapy studio. In the rehabilitation clinic in Via San Gottardo 59, in Balerna, it purely performs treatments in Acupuncture, Physiotherapy, Osteopathy (including pediatric) and Posturology, recognized and reimbursed by basic insurance (physiotherapy subject to medical certificate) and complementary (Acupuncture, APC, TCM, Osteopathy and Posturology, without a doctor's prescription), as well as relaxing massages and lymphatic drainage for the lower limbs and for the whole body in general.
