Es ist immer wieder toll und entspannend ein paar Minuten Sonne zu tanken . Manche Mediziner empfehlen in der kalten Jahreszeit zum Gewinn von Vitamin D das Solarium. Infrarot fördert Hautreparatur Doch da ist noch etwas. Das Licht der Sonne und der Solarien produziert nicht nur Vitamin D. Darauf weist auch Hofbauer hin: Infrarotes Licht etwa fördere die Reparaturvorgänge in der Haut, weisses Licht sei nachweislich gut gegen Winterdepressionen, und ultraviolettes Licht (sowohl UVA als auch UVB) rege die Ausschüttung von Endorphinen an und löse damit ein Glücksgefühl aus.
