Man wird top betreut und beraten, wenn man ins Ausland geht, was bei uns sehr häufig vorkommt, da meine Hunde hoch im Sport geführt werden. Meine 10-jährige Hündin Ginger hatte in Folge eines Kreuzbandrisses im Knie eine TPLO-Operation. Auf Anraten vom Tierspital begannen wir 10 Tage postoperativ mit der Physiotherapie. Wir sind mit Frau Carmen Schärer rund um zufrieden gewesen! Frau Schärer hat einen sehr angenehmen Umgang - mit dem haarigen Patienten und und mir als Besitzer. Sie hat sofort einen sehr guten und liebevollen Zugang zu Ginger gefunden. Ginger freute sich jedes Mal riesig auf den Hausbesuch von Carmen Schärer! Carmens Wissen ist sehr fundiert und wir sind überzeugt, dass ohne die Physiotherapie von Carmen unsere Hündin heute nicht so gut in Form wäre! An animal that moves well is naturally balanced. This is the core of my philosophy as a dog physiotherapist. For me as a physiotherapist, motor disorders mean that something is out of balance and needs to be brought back into natural equilibrium. The visible disorder is often just the tip of the iceberg. It may have resulted from a protective posture with which the animal tries to compensate for a problem. Underneath the symptom there may be a whole chain of blockages, muscle, joint or neurological problems. For me it is extremely important not to treat the visible symptom first and foremost, but to clarify the physiological causes and address them correctly therapeutically.
