A 15-minute walk from the station and city center, in the countryside, stands Villa Selva. Welcome to the Camping Tamaro Resort at the edge of Lago Maggiore near Locarno. Our five stars are: family business, a dynamic team, a serene environment, business policies, respect for the environment as well as modern, sprawling and clean newly refurbished facilities (2019) with heated showers. A peaceful beach, a wonderful lawn along the lake and big plots up to 154 m2 create an ideal environment for your holidays. All pitches have electricity and drinking water, some with drains and satellite TV. Buungalows first class. At Camping Tamaro Resort you can spend unforgettable, relaxing days in brand-new superior bungalows (as of 2020 season, 16 new bungalows). These are very elegant structures, equipped with all the comforts: neutral colors, a unique atmosphere, walls and floors tone-on-tone, in short a very dreamlike ambience for families with higher demands. Each bungalow has a kitchenette with fridge and dishes (common kitchen equipment), two to three bedrooms, one to two bathrooms with shower, satellite TV, WiFi, heating and air conditioning. Bed linen and towels are included in the rental price. Guests can enjoy the picturesque surroundings from the covered veranda with table and deck chairs in peace and quiet. Welcome. Locanda Villa d'Epoca is located at Ronchini di Aurigeno in Vallemaggia. We can be reached from Locarno in 15 minutes by car or by regular buses; the bus stop is adjacent to our entrance. Rooms: The Villa was built in 1896, completely renovated in 2000 and underwent further renovation during winter 2023/2024. As of March 1, 2024, the new manager is Elisabetta Martinoli, who has long experience in the restaurant business as she ran Grotto da Peo at Monti in Ronco s/Ascona for a decade and previously was active in various restaurants in Geneva for thirty years. The rooms were renovated in winter 2023/2024 and all have minibars, coffee and tea makers, bathrobes, and free wi-fi. Only one does not have a shower and toilet in the room but has it privately outside. Included in the price of the rooms is a buffet breakfast. Free parking is available for our guests. Restaurant: Locanda Villa d'Epoca offers local and home cooking where local or regional products are preferred. Depending on the season, different recipes are offered such as ravioli, gnocchi, risotto, rabbit, shin, braised meat, etc.. In autumn there is no shortage of fresh porcini mushrooms and game. The restaurant and garden lend themselves very well to family celebrations, ceremonies or a relaxing time after a day of work.

Grotto Monte Creda is located in Villa Luganese, surrounded by greenery at the foot of the «Denti della Vecchia». We offer traditional Ticino cuisine, with homemade dishes and local products. Summer specialties: grill, mushrooms – Winter specialties: wildmeat, saddle of roe deer. Large car park, panoramic terrace, banquet room for events and a playground area for younger customers. Reservation appreciated. Closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.
