The sculptor Reto Grond deals with the natural materials wood and ice. In the winter months, ice sculptures are his theme: play of light, transience and the dimensions of time are omnipresent. His passion in summer is wood. The beauty of the wood is reflected again and again in the works; be it in the form of large puzzle sculptures or in interaction with the traditions of the Engadin. The Engadine has all the qualities for new inspiration(r.grond).
