Story When it was founded in 1925, the Principality of Liechtenstein and the country's municipalities were in a difficult economic situation. Workers and employees as well as their families depended on social protection against illness and accidents. Today, FKB is a modern health insurance company that offers a wide range of services. The comparison of premiums with other insurance companies speaks for itself. The fund does not primarily want to earn money, but only expects its members to pay bonuses in an amount that is necessary for the healthy continued existence of the fund. Although the FKB has changed significantly in its long career and has opened up nationwide, the original objectives of helping insured persons in the event of illness and accident and of maintaining independence and self-administration in the qualitative expansion of services have not been lost sight of.
