ECAP Winterthur was founded in 1970 and the first training courses took place in the metalworking and mechanical engineering sector. Training for welders was particularly in demand because the large industrial companies in Winterthur such as Sulzer, Loki, Rieter and Geilinger in particular needed these specialists. In response to the employment crisis in the 1980s and the wave of immigration from all over Europe, Asia, Africa and South America, the range of courses on offer has been continuously adapted and expanded to meet new needs. Today, the demand for further training of migrants focuses primarily on the acquisition of the German language. Computer science courses for beginners are also popular. We are proud to continue to make a significant contribution to the integration work of the City of Winterthur with our range of courses. Founded in the mid-1970s, ECAP Solothurn is one of the oldest regional offices of ECAP. The courses offered are primarily aimed at migrants. They are based on the latest methodological and didactic findings and are constantly being expanded. It is low-threshold and adapted to the group-specific concerns (e.g. women, illiterate and unemployed) and realities of the participants. ECAP has been active in French-speaking Switzerland since 2007. The first regional office was opened in Lausanne in 2009 thanks to the implementation of a project in cooperation with the UNIA Vaud Trade union. As a result of the development of our activities, a second seat was inaugurated in Vevey in 2010 and we have further developed our field of activity and our educational programme. ECAP Vaud currently offers courses in Lausanne, La Chaux-de-Fond, Le Sentier, Neuchâtel, Nyon, Vevey and Yverdon-les-Bains. ECAP Vaud is an active member of the Coordination romande pour la formation de base des adultes (CRFBA) and the Vaud platform of French courses as a foreign language. ECAP Vaud has also signed a cooperation agreement with UNIA Vaud. ECAP Vaud is involved in several European adult education projects. ECAP Vaud has a small team of 40 teachers, working with enthusiasm and professionalism in an informal working environment. We give great importance to the exchange of views and mutual respect. ECAP Vaud offers a large variety of language courses and professional development courses. Gerade habe ich den Blockchain Kurs an der Benedict beendet. Unser Lehrer, Herr Altinok, war so wie man sich einen Lehrer wünscht, motiviert und gut vorbereitet. Viel Arbeitsmaterial wurde vorgelegt und auch als ich fehlte, wurde mir ein Dossier zusammengestellt. Klar war es nicht einfach nach einem langen Arbeitstag noch die Schulbank zu drücken, im Nachhinein muss ich aber sagen, es hat richtig Spass gemacht. Die Klasse war super, zudem hat es mich neu vernetzt. Mein Fazit; ich kann jedem einen Kurs an der Benedict empfehlen.
