Die Metzgerei Müller Der Familienbetrieb Müller führt seit 111 Jahren ihre Metzgerei in der Weiten Gasse in Baden. Unser Motto: Tradition, Qualität und Dienst am Kunden. Dabei integrieren wir unterschiedliche Ideen und Wünsche - und entwickeln gemeinsam mit unseren Kunden innovative Produkte. Zu unserem Qualitätsbewusstsein gehört selbstverständlich auch das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis der Produkte, auf welches wir grossen Wert legen. Ein Familienbetrieb durch und durch. Inhaber Thomas Müller führt den Laden in der Weiten Gasse 12 in dritter Generation. Sein Urgrossvater Jean Müller eröffnete die Metzgerei im Jahr 1909 gegenüber dem alten Schlachthaus. Rund 60 Jahre später übernahmen seine Eltern Kurt und Alice den Fleisch-Betrieb. Thomas Müller gelangte über einige Umwege zur familieneigenen Metzgerei. Der heute 55-Jährige absolvierte die Lehre bei einem anderen Betrieb, in der Wahl des Berufs hatte Müller aber seit seinen Kindheitstagen keine Zweifel: «Mir wurde der Metzgerberuf in die Wiege gelegt. Für mich stand früh fest, dass ich später als Metzger arbeiten wollte.» Nach der Ausbildung zum Metzger begann Müller dann auch, bei seinen Eltern mitzuarbeiten und sammelte auch Berufserfahrung in anderen Betrieben. Nach der Rekrutenschule konnte er eine Saison lang in einer Metzgerei in der Lenzerheide im Bündnerland arbeiten. An einem späteren Arbeitsplatz gehörte Müller mit 26 Jahren bei der Metzgerei Kunz im glarnerischen Bilten zur Geschäftsleitung. Das Unternehmen zählte damals rund 450 Mitarbeiter. Während Müller beruflich dazulernte, bedienten seine Eltern im Laden in Baden weiter. 1997 kehrte Thomas Müller zurück zur Metzgerei seiner Eltern und übernahm das Geschäft – auch wegen gesundheitlicher Probleme des Vaters. Gleich mit der Übernahme liess Müller die Metzgerei umbauen: «Dabei entstand eine neue, grössere Theke, wodurch wir das Sortiment erweitern konnten.» Neben dem Fleischsortiment bietet die Metzgerei Müller heute auch Antipasti, Teigwaren oder Gemüse an. Vor dreizehn Jahren kaufte Thomas Müller die Metzgerei Spuhler in Schneisingen auf, die vorerst als Verkaufsstelle und Produktionsstätte diente, sagt Müller: «Den Laden schlossen wir aber wegen geringer Nachfrage bald wieder. Nun ist die Lokalität noch Produktionsstätte.» Dort verarbeiten je zwei gelernte und angehende Metzger die tägliche Fleischware. Insgesamt bilden zwölf Fachkräfte, darunter vier Lernende, neben Thomas Müller und seiner Frau Sibylle das Team. Sibylle lernte er kennen, als sie 1985 hinter der Theke der Metzgerei zu arbeiten begann. Auch die gemeinsame Tochter Sina zählt zum Team, sie schloss ihre Ausbildung zur Fleischfachfrau erfolgreich ab.

Das Mittagessen war hervorragend, auch für Vegetarier. Die Bedienung ist freundlich und aufmerksam. Kompliment wir kommen wieder!

Nettes Ambiente! Freundliche Bedienung. Speisekarte eher klein, für Jedermann etwas dabei. Essen sehr fein, Portionen eher gross. Wird auf Hygiene geachtet; Besteck, Servietten werden mit Stoffhandschuhe aufgedeckt. WC sind sauber. Komme gerne wieder !!!

Je suis toujours bluffé par les connaissances de Sylviane et sa capacité à comprendre ma chienne, ses envies, ses émotions. Les cours nous ont permis de prendre la bonne direction avec notre Grand Bouvier Suisse avant qu'elle ne devienne "ingérable" physiquement (c'est un chien puissant). Que de progrès, Sylviane est toujours de bon conseil, et mets le doigt sur les points à travailler positivement, par le renforcement.
