Affordable holidays for families with tight budgets We take it as our social responsibility to offer a break to people who cannot afford one at regular prices. Nobody wants to be in precarious circumstances. But almost everyone can be affected by illness, a stroke of fate, or the loss of a partner which can plunge them into financial difficulties. Holiday aid for families Families in precarious circumstances – many living below the poverty line – cannot afford to go on holiday with their children. This is where we come in. For a solidarity contribution of CHF 200.–, families can spend a week’s holiday in a Reka Holiday Village, a Reka Holiday flat, or a Swiss Youth Hostel. Everything is prepared there for large and small guests to feel at home, relax, let off steam, and recuperate. Holiday aid and offers for single-parent families Single mothers and fathers are particularly challenged in everyday life. They have to assume all responsibility for and pay total attention to the children, make a living, and organise the daily routine.
