Educational Possibilities La Garenne International school is a co-ed boarding and day school for international students studying English or French from 5 to 18 years of age. The Official French and English school curriculums are followed. The school prides itself on its strong family values, full academic and extracurricular timetable and warm friendly atmosphere. Location La Garenne is located in the popular ski resort of Villars known throughout the world. The location is ideal, allowing the students to ski to the front door, walk only five minutes to the local village and study in a picturesque setting, it has been, and remains, very popular throughout the years. Academic programs The official English and French programs are followed, average class sizes of 12 students, academic programs including the SES intensive English course, each student is treated as an individual according to their needs, the official end of year exams are administered for all subjects including the official Cambridge English tests. Language courses All the students study French and English so as to be bilingual before entering secondary education. Other languages such as German, Italian, Chinese, Russian and Japanese are also taught. Extracurricular Activities Sports, cultural visits, art, music and ICT are but some of the variety of activities on offer.
