Our breeding farm includes alpacas, dairy cows, pigs, bees, goats, chickens, cats and our child-friendly dog. We offer a special holiday experience where you have the opportunity to meet all the farm animals and their offspring up close. During your holiday you have the exceptional opportunity to test our alpaca bedding. FARM TOURS & APÉROS In order to improve the connection between the population and agriculture, we offer farm tours and aperitifs for groups of 6 or more people. Here the visitor is brought closer to agriculture, gets to know alpacas and other animals up close and has the opportunity to learn more about Terra-Preta nutrient humus (black earth). We offer an unforgettable and unique experience combined with a special aperitif with meat and cheese products from the region. Our offers for aperitifs for 6 or more people can be combined with a tour of the farm and a visit to the alpaca shop, where furs, meat, wool products, alpaca bedding and Terra-Preta nutritional humus are sold. All this against the backdrop of a wonderful hilly landscape. Animal manure from our pigs, dairy cows and alpacas with the addition of rock flour and primarily activated biochar forms the basis of our Alparama® Terra Preta nutrient humus. The unique properties of Alparama® Terra Preta nutrient humus are not only beneficial for gardeners, but also for the environment as a whole, because of its amazing carbon sequestration abilities - 1m3 of Alparama® Terra Preta stores 500kg of CO2 in the soil. The Artist Apartments & Hotel bnb is about 7 minutes walk from the centre of Zermatt and is situated in a sunny, quiet location with a magnificent view of the Matterhorn.
