A family business through the ages The Hans Schillig Garage in Lachen was founded in 1979 and in 1981 Hans Furrer Sr. joined the garage as workshop manager. In 1984, the family business was renamed Schillig AG, which is well-known in the region. In 1988 Brigitta Furrer also began working for the company, taking care of the office and administration. Together with her husband, she was elected to the Board of Directors in 1997 and together they formed the new management team. Later, the shares were purchased and since 2003 the company has been fully owned by the Furrer family. A company on the move A constant expansion of the product range, the pursuit of good service and a modern infrastructure led to further changes.
