Vines and winegrowers

Facing Lake Geneva and planted across the slope to combat erosion, the vineyards are divided into more than thirty terraced plots in the municipalities of Grandvaux, Cully, Riex, Epesses, and Puidoux.

Until 1995, the estate was run by two brothers, Claude and Jean-Pierre Ponnaz. They were then succeeded by Louis-Philippe Ponnaz and his cousin Marc-Henri Mermod, both married with children. Together, they complement each other in the various tasks involved in growing, vinifying, and marketing the harvest.
