The retirement and nursing home is located in picturesque Beatenberg at around 1200 meters above sea level. The home was built in 1981/82 and extended and completely renovated in 2013/14. It offers senior citizens a home with a fantastic view of the Bernese Alps, the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau triumvirate and the deep blue waters of Lake Thun. In the most beautiful place in the world, quote by Erich von Däniken, everyday life is offered in peace and harmony.

Our hotel has 33 single rooms equipped with bath or shower and WC.

30 rooms have direct access to their own balcony, which can be furnished and equipped as you wish.

The large seating area with a glass roof facing the Niederhorn is an inviting and  cool shady seating area in summer. Senior citizens, visitors and guests enjoy spending time here and watching the goings-on in the surrounding area. Our garden offers the right atmosphere for quiet and relaxing moments. With an unrestricted view of the mountains, the quiet rippling of the integrated fountain and the comfortable seating, it offers a relaxing and dreamy environment. From time to time, we need a little help with the landscaping of our own property below the garden, providing a quiet grazing area for some sheep and allowing the viewer to take a detour into the animal world.
